However, some types of hair such as fine & thin textures MAY not be able to easily hold the locked combs in place naturally. This is because there may not be enough texture to keep the locked combs securely affixed. Secret Tip For Securing Combs: To help keep the combs firmly in place, anchor them on the outside edges of the interlocking comb's teeth w/ small to medium sized bobby pins in the same color as the tortoise hued combs. People with thick, curly, or wavy textures, usually do very well with these combs. They are ideal for medium to longer lengths. Each set of the combs is tested by HairBoutique.com to make sure that they function correctly and lock before they are shipped. These combs are often very hard to find & because our customers love these combs & ask us to continue to carry them, we persist in finding good suppliers. However, we are very sorry but we can no longer accept any returns on this specific item.
