This product is great! The crimping is really fun, my younger sisters love it! But I have extremely curly hair and instead of leaving it straight, it's still soft, it's wavy with a kink.?

Haven't used it, but i am looking 4 a crimper and this sounds AWESOME! the others are like really expensive, but this is not! OMG! THIS IS SO COOL! But one problem...I WANT MOOOREE plates! BUT THIS IS SO TIGHT!~

Shiny Styles!, February 7, 2002

After back surgery, suddenly my hair was curly. Not big fat nice curls, though. Nasty bad-perm looking curls. I got the Shiny Styles and am addicted. My hair is smooth, straight, and glossy. The wave and crimp plates are great, too. I have been dragging this around in my bag, using it on all of my friends. It's a lot of fun for not a lot of cash.
