Product Details

The semi-precious stones are hand sewn and hand threaded onto silver hued, smooth bobby pins, that measure approximately 2" from tip to top along the bottom part of the bobby pin. The Carnelian chips are sewn onto the top of the smooth bobby pin with clear wire thread. The clear thread anchors the precious chips firmly to the bobby pins. The top part of the bobby pin, that is encrusted with the semi-precious stones, measures approximately 1 3/4" from tip to tip. The bobby pins are gorgeous and incredibly elegant. Versatile, the bobby pins can be worn with any type of hair length or texture as an jeweled accent piece. These semi-precious hairpins were featured in the June 2004 issue of Marie Claire magazine.
