Dana Frank & Allison Goldberg are the genius behind Frank & Kahn Accessories. Multi-coastal Dana Frank, who
has a Masters in Fine Arts from New York University co-founded Frank & Kahn with Allison Goldberg, a native New Yorker
with a fine arts & marketing background. Their inspiration for their company happened during a vacation in the South
of France. After a long journey overseas, they dropped off their bags and jumped into bikinis for a welcome snooze on
the beach. Instead of sleeping on their chaises, their eyes went directly to the sun kissed women, fearlessly walking
out of the ocean and putting their Mediterranean locks in check. Their first thought was 'how did they get their hair
as long as Barbie’s'? And then, on closer examination, they noticed it was all in the details and presentation. The long
straight hair girls wore simple ponies with various ornaments. The frizzier haired women wore elaborate buns and braids
capped with barrettes to hold it all in. Alison and Dana decided to bring this chic lifestyle must-have to the States,
and thus, Frank & Kahn was born.
