The Fred & Lola line, born from the inspiration provided by Fred the Terrier and Lola the Bulldog, is brought to life by the creative talents of Elaine Appelson. After five years in the corporate world, Elaine decided to take her hobby to the next level and launched a line of one-of-a-kind glass earrings. Her designs were launched on the streets of SOHO, NYC alongside other neighborhood aspiring artists. This particular piece is a spectacular u-shaped hairpin with an Art Deco inspired topper. The top is an ornate and mesmerizing round enamel bullseye in alternating light pink and brown with six tiny sparkling baby pink crystals. The sides of the silver hued metal hairpin zig and zag for added security in adorning updos or buns. The circular bullseye measures approximately 1 1/4" in diameter, and the u-shaped hairpin measures approximately 3 3/8" in length. A dreamy and elegant hairpin for day to evening wear. Fred & Lola signature mark is on the back of the topper design. The Fred & Lola collection grew to include hair accessories and jewelry and can now be found in specialty boutiques and galleries nationwide. Elaine's designs have also been featured on the pages of Bridal Guide and Modern Bride magazine and are worn by the cast members of The Guiding Light.
