The Fred & Lola line, born from the inspiration provided by Fred the Terrier and Lola the Bulldog, is brought to life by the creative talents of Elaine Appelson. After five years in the corporate world, Elaine decided to take her hobby to the next level and launched a line of one-of-a-kind glass earrings. Her designs were launched on the streets of SOHO, NYC alongside other neighborhood aspiring artists. This fabulous pony has an Art Deco inspired enamel tiled face with a center row of sparkling amethyst hued crystals affixed with two metal loops to the soft and stretchy black pony elastic. The sophisticated enamel tiled piece is arranged in two rows of five tiles each in a gorgeous violet shade with a center dividing row of sparkling amethyst hued crystals. The tiled piece measures approximately 1 3/4" in width and 1" in length. The black pony elastic stretches to approximately 2 1/4" and can hold up to 2" of hair depending upon texture. A dreamy and elegant pony for day to evening wear. Fred & Lola signature mark is on the underbelly of the floral piece. The Fred & Lola collection grew to include hair accessories and jewelry and can now be found in specialty boutiques and galleries nationwide. Elaine's designs have also been featured on the pages of Bridal Guide and Modern Bride magazine and are worn by the cast members of The Guiding Light.
