The Fred & Lola line, born from the inspiration provided by Fred the Terrier and Lola the Bulldog, is brought to life by the creative talents of Elaine Appelson. After five years in the corporate world, Elaine decided to take her hobby to the next level and launched a line of one-of-a-kind glass earrings. Her designs were launched on the streets of SOHO, NYC alongside other neighborhood aspiring artists. This bold and sassy pony has an Art Deco inspired glass cut design with nine separate tile pieces on a shiny silver hued base affixed with two metal loops to the soft and stretchy black pony elastic. The alluring glass cut design is in a fabulous and fun cotton candy pink shade with prismatic colors illuminating from the tiles. The entire tiled piece measures approximately 1 1/8" x 1 1/8". The black pony elastic stretches to approximately 2 1/4" and can hold up to 2" of hair depending upon texture. A sassy and sophisticated pony for day to evening wear. Fred & Lola signature mark is on the underbelly of the tiled design. The Fred & Lola collection grew to include hair accessories and jewelry and can now be found in specialty boutiques and galleries nationwide. Elaine's designs have also been featured on the pages of Bridal Guide and Modern Bride magazine and are worn by the cast members of The Guiding Light.
