The Fred & Lola line, born from the inspiration provided by Fred the Terrier and Lola the Bulldog, is brought to life by the creative talents of Elaine Appelson. After five years in the corporate world, Elaine decided to take her hobby to the next level and launched a line of one-of-a-kind glass earrings. Her designs were launched on the streets of SOHO, NYC alongside other neighborhood aspiring artists. This particular set of charming bobby pins are perfect for securing small pieces of hair or adding a dramatic flair to short styles. The gorgeous peacock glass has a vibrant green background with the fabulous iridescent colors of peacock feathers. The peacock glass piece measures approximately 1/4" in diameter, and the bobby pin measures about 1 5/8" for a total approximate length of 1 5/8". A unique accessory for adding flair to hairstyles. The Fred & Lola collection grew to include hair accessories and jewelry and can now be found in specialty boutiques and galleries nationwide. Elaine's designs have also been featured on the pages of Bridal Guide and Modern Bride magazine and are worn by the cast members of The Guiding Light.
