Tried Everything But This Really Works & Is Not A Scam!, January 29, 2007

First I had thyroid problems which a doctor diagnosed and I took meds. They really helped in some ways but not with my hair which got coarse and dry and started breaking off. It didn't help that I colored my hair which caused even more damage. My hair got so dry and thin and awful that I would cry when I looked at it.
A friend of mine who had gastric bypass told me about HairTopia because she can't swallow pills easily. She opens the caps and pours it into her morning protein mix and she had great results after just 2 months of the program which she followed religiously.
I also have a hard time with tablets and always have to break them. So the pills seemed like a very good option. In the meantime I tried 3 other "hair growth" formulas and they were all tablets. I had to break them and I didn't really see any major changes.
I decided to order HairTopia as a last resort even though I was worried about if the product really works. I was happy to see a 45 day money back guarantee and I was also happy when I emailed Karen to ask questions. I had read on one of the messageboards that she created the product for her own hair over 5 years ago. I emailed her and she emailed back very quickly to answer my questions. I also talked to CustomerCare and they were very responsive and helpful.
One of the downsides is that you do have to take a lot of daily pills but you have to do that with all of these types of programs. So this is nothing different with HairTopia. I tried pouring the pills into a chocolate protein mix and I did not taste the pills. So that was a good option.
I did have one experience with mild flushing but it was because I took the pills on an empty stomach. That only happened once and I had that happen a lot with the competitor product.
What was most impressive was the results. I didn't see any after the first 30 days but wanted to really try it longer. Afterall, it took my hair years to get to this horrible point. So I promised myself 90 days to try.
I saw results after 2 months. The first thing I noticed was my hair got a lot softer. It was noticeably softer. My guy mentioned it to me one night. He said "are you using a different shampoo because your hair looks so soft and shiny". I also noticed less breakage around that point and less hairs in my brush. By the end of 60 days my hair was stronger, softer and had stopped breaking off. I was very pleased.
I have used the product non-stop for close to 6 months and it has completely changed my hair. It is stronger, feels thicker and has stopped falling out completely. It is softer and shiny. As a bonus, it has made my skin feel softer and my nails really are growing faster and stronger.
Recently another friend that I recommended HairTopia too and had very good results told me she found an independent review of the HT product in an old copy of a Marie Claire magazine. I was impressed. This product has been around for a long time and really does work. At least it did for me.

She also told me that the product is only manufactured on an "as needed" basis because she wants all the ingredients to be fresh. I know this is important because someone at a local health food store told me that some companies are known for having vitamin products that sit on shelves literally for years. HairTopia is usually less than 2 weeks old when it is shipped to customers.
There are downsides. You do have to commit to the program and take the pills. Also, it is recommended that you eat a good nutritional program and drink more water. But then if you go on JennyCraig you can't eat donuts every night for dinner. So there are always trade offs.
This is a good program, this is a very honest and reputable company and the CEO and founder, Karen Shelton, stands behind the product that she helped to create for her own hair.
Since I started taking this program I have recommended it to many of my friends including the daughter of my dear friends who is struggling with an eating disorder. Even though she won't eat well, she does take HairTopia and her hair which was thinning, has started to grow back.

I'm a male and took these pills for a friend who wanted an outside opinion, especially from a guy who doesn't care about his hair or nail. I was worried at first for my friend because if they didn't work she would be out of a lot of money. Plus, She would have me dancing around say "I told you so". I started taking them on April 15, 2006 and was suprised to see how easily they were to take. Now, I have indigestion problems and must take them with a few crackers, so they will go down smoothly. They went down no problems. I didn't notice anything in the first week or so, most vitamins take time to get into your system. I had my friend measure my hair. My hair was to the base of my neck and full. I decided to let it grow, you know so I can have the ladies run their fingers through it. Within the first 2 weeks my nails started to grow much faster than usual and very thick. I keep them short, and I noticed how thick they became and how white the tips of my nails were. I was asked if I had a manicure. I was like, I'm a guy.. come on... Then my hair started taking off, it is now to my shoulders within 3 and half weeks of starting taking them. I'm very impressed because I noticed how much fuller my hair became. I know this because of how much longer it takes me to wash my hair and conditioner it and the much longer amount of time it takes me to dry it as well. Everyone is commenting how how shiny my hair because how pretty it makes my natural color stand out. I'm a dark blonde with blonde streaks through it. Also my body hair and my sideburns started to grow very fast as well. I had to trim everything, and the bathroom look like I trimmed an English Sheepdog, when I just trimmed by body hair and sideburns!! Another plus is that my skin started to heal much faster. I had a couple scars on my face from acne and the pills made the fade dramatically and THAT impressed me the most. If you can make a little schedule for yourself and stick with it, and then you will have thick and shiny hair and very nice nail, or unless you are a guy and want to look like a beast with chest hair sticking out :-).. So this products works fantastic and I'm very impressed with the results that I received. I'm very skeptical person and my friend got a fair review from a male to boot, and I give it two thumbs way up.!! The only thing I was a little confused on was what should I take? I took 2 aminos and one vitamin at breakfast, 2 aminos and one vitamin around 1 or 2, then 2 aminos around dinner time, then 2 herbals before bedtime. Taking pills never bothered me, I just popped them like skittles. If you want faster growing hair and nails this is the product for you! I will be giving another review at the end of the summer to see how much hair I really grew.
