This U-shaped faux velvet headband is approximately 1" wide with tapered ends to 1/2".  The U shape is approximately 15" long with mini teeth lining the inner edges of approximately 7" of the band. Although a firm design, the band is somewhat flexible.  The band can be worn right at the hairline or further back from the crown, as desired.
