Breathtaking shimmer erupts from this gorgeous filigree butterfly design that features four crystal flowers that
are centered on all four of the butterfly's wings. This gorgeous crystal encrusted design is built upon a silver
hued metal form that is a traditional 6 pronged claw clip that is covered with filigree etchings along the base of the
clip that supports the ornate butterfly. The actual light silver colored claws are curved and measure approximately
1/2" in length. There are three claws on either side. At its widest wingspan, the butterfly measures approximatelpy
2 1/2" inches across. The butterfly is approximately 2" long from the bottom of the lower wings to the top of the
upper wings.
The wings are gracefully curved along the outside of the design and although the hinge of the clip is visible, because
its color blends so well with the rest of the design, it is not glaringly obvious. Instead the hinge appears to
be the butterfly's body.
The top of the butterfly is bursting with over 100 round crystals that are hand set into the wings in a Pave style
setting. Two crystals are set at the top to form eyes.
The clip opens approximately 1" wide and would hold up to approximately 2" of hair thickness. This clip is
not suitable for fine, thin or extra slippery hair unless it was added on top of a pony that is created with en elastic
style band that could help the clip grip around the top of the pony.
