This stunning ornate enamel and crystal encrusted small butterfly is built upon a silver metal hued claw/jaw
clip. Marcasite inspired edging & details.
Unusual butterfly design. Vintage inspired design measures approximately 1 5/8" wide at the widest and
has six metal curved "jaw teeth" - 3 on each side - that are approximately 1/2" long for a snug
fit. The ornate jaw opens approximately 1" wide and contains approximately 23+ round Austrian crystals in light
and dark rise hued crystals on the tips of the wings. Interwoven throughout the wings are hand crafted light
rose hued enamel pieces.
A carefully designed array of crystals are strategically placed to faciliate the generation of a major sparkle.
The clip opens from two filigree and marcasite inspired "handles" that are actually the butterfly's wings that
are each encrusted with enamel and crystals. Each side of the clip which is curved at the bottom has
an open airy design and is encrusted with ornate metal carvings that feature an array of filigree motifs.

The butterfly has two enamel encrusted wings with silver line etchings to simulate real wings.
The wings are edged with crystals. The body of the butterfly covers the metal spring but slides easily back
and forth over the sping for easy positioning in the hair.
This clip can be used to cover an elastic band of a ponytail to perch at the top of a pony. Or it can
be used for a myriad of hairstyles including holding hair up in a messy twist. This clip can hold approximately 1
to 3 inches of hair thickness when the sturdy clip is closed around the hair. This may not be an optimal clip
for anyone with super fine or slippery hair that is not medium to thick in texture. This design is ideal for
medium to thick hair that is wavy, curly or has bend.
This clip could ideally work with short, medium or longer hairstyles to create beautiful adornment.
