Product Details

This beautiful phaleanopsis orchid has a crepe texture and looks like it was just plucked from the hothouse. The orchid contains five fan shaped petals that are a delicate blend of pink with the lighter pink hues flowing down towards the pistel of the flower which is pink with yellow, and tiny burgandy freckles. The entire flower, when flat, measures approximately 3 1/2" from edge to edge. Each of the petals are slightly different in size to give the flower an authentic appearance. Layered near the center of the delicate flower is a brilliant pink center piece that is identical to the real floral creation. The underneath of the leaves are threaded with matching thin strips of bendable wire that allows you to carefully shape the flower to fit your desired shape. The flower is glued to the thick black elastic ponytail holder and then covered by a darker green velvety piece that hides the glued section. The black ponytail elastic easily stretches up to 3" in diameter. The band is approximately 1/8" in thickness. The elastic band can be doubled or tripled over to hold fine or thin strands. Or it can be worn "as is" for thicker strands. This is a multi-purpose accessory and can be worn as a bracelet, an anklet or of course adorning a ponytail. If you prefer to wear this piece on your label simply use a pin to attach it. You can also use a bobby pin to attach it to your strands w/out wearing it as a ponytail holder.
