This set of two beautiful Vanda orchids have a crepe texture and they look like they were just plucked from the hothouse.
The two orchids each contain five fan shaped petals that are a delicate blend of creamy white. Each flower,
when flat, measures approximately 2 1/2" from edge to edge. Each of the petals are slightly different in size to give
the flower an authentic appearance. Layered near the center of the delicate flower is a brilliant darker plum velvety
center piece that is identical to the real floral creation. The underneath of the leaves are threaded with matching thin
strips of bendable wire that allows you to carefully shape the flower to fit your desired shape. The flowers are glued and
then tied by a white ribbon to the silver barrette and then covered by a darker green velvety piece that hides the glued
section.
The silver colored pinch clip, spring barrette measures approximately 2 3/4" long and is approximately 1/4" wide.
The barrette would hold approximately 1/2" thickness of hair. A similar Vanda design was worn by Mary Kate Olson
