Although the barrette finding base for this wearable hair art is imported from France and is made of the very finest
quality available, the antique plating is performed in the USA. All of the Swarovski crystals and/or semi-precious gems
are exquisitely hand-selected, hand-set and hand-finished in the USA. Linda Levinson has an extensive background in fine
jewelry and a keen love for antiques which combine here for an ornate and well-balanced design. Each piece is hand crafted
using a combination of the highest quality Swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones. Items are first hand cast in
pewter and then plated in antiqued silver or gold finish.
This spectacular piece is plated in antiqued silver with an Art Deco and floral design. Two fleur de lys shaped dark
silver pieces meet in the center at a delicate floral knot. The center is a petite five petaled Swarovski crystal flower
with a real garnet center. The two large fleur de lys pieces feature silver filigree with black diamond Swarovski crystals
and pearls on the outer edges. Various sized garnet Swarovski crystals also grace this timeless piece. This barrette
is an elegant accessory for day or evening affairs, or even a vintage dressed bride. The barrette measures approximately
3 1/2" in width and 1 3/4" in length. With a spring release , the barrette will hold approximately 2" - 2 1/2" of hair
depending upon texture.
