Exquisitely crafted, this luxurious antique gold barrette base finding is imported from France but the jeweled sections
are hand crafted in the USA. Linda Levinson has an extensive background in fine jewelry and a keen love for antiques
which combine here for an ornate and well-balanced design. Each piece is hand crafted using a combination of Swarovski
crystals and semi-precious stones. Items are first hand cast in pewter and then plated in antiqued silver or gold finish.
This particular piece is plated in antiqued gold with an Art Deco and floral design. Five sectioned squares feature
an intricately designed border with a Swarovski pearls at the corners of each squared sections. The squares serve as
a frame for the delicate floral design within of a five petaled flower in Swarovski Peridot crystal and a center Swarovski
turquoise pistil. This barrette is an elegant accessory for day or evening affairs, or even a vintage dressed bride.
The barrette measures approximately 3 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. With a double clasped hinge release, the barrette
will hold approximately 2" - 2 1/2" of hair depending upon texture. A truly timeless piece.
