Vintage inspired design and masterfully hand-crafted, this luxurious gold barrette is imported from France. Linda
Levinson has an extensive background in fine jewelry and a keen love for antiques which combine here for an ornate and
well-balanced design. Each piece is hand crafted using a combination of Swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones.
Items are first hand cast in pewter and then plated in antiqued silver or gold finish.
This barrette is so gorgeous it is hard to believe that it is not a fabulous brooch or the centerpiece of a cuff
bracelet. A truly decadent hair ornament, this barrette is ornately designed in Celtic or Victorian fashion with an array
of Turquoise stones and baby white pearls with a splash of green peridot Swarovski crystals on four sides in a fleur
de lys pattern. The center of this brooch-like barrette features a stunning burnished amber that is faceted and diamond
cut. Surrounding the amber is a double band of beautiful peridot hued Swarovski crystals, a gold band and an outer band
of baby white pearls that all showcase the brilliant amber.
A suggestion: ask your local jeweler to add a brooch clip to the back and wear this spectacular piece alternately
as barrette or brooch. This fabulous barrette measures approximately 2 1/2" in width and 2 1/4" in length. The spring
release barrette can hold up to an 1 1/2" of hair depending upon texture.
