This luxurious silver barrette design has a base barrette finding that is imported from France and is the finest
quality available. The finished design is a stunning hand-crafted, hand-set and hand-finished assemblage. This wearable
hair art is masterfully designed by Linda Levinson who has an extensive background in fine jewelry and a keen love for
antiques which combine here for an ornate and well-balanced design. Each piece is hand crafted using a combination of
Swarovski crystals and semi-precious and/or vintage inspired stones. Items are first hand cast in pewter and then plated
in antiqued silver or gold finish. This barrette is so breath-taking it is hard to believe that it is not being displayed
in an art museum. A vintage inspired design that is completely encrusted with an array of smooth and polished Swarovksi
garnets in a center snake-line that is surrounded by gorgeous black diamond Swarovski crystals. The denter of the head
is encrusted with a large round black diamond Swarovski crystal. The design is in the form of a snake making a figure
eight pattern with a larger head and thinner tail-end at the center of the piece. This tempting snake is sure to have
the power to mesmerize the eyes and be a show stopper for on-lookers. The barrette measures approximately 3" in width
and 1 1/2" at the longest measurable length. The spring release barrette may hold up to approximately 2 1/2" of hair
depending upon texture. Please note that since this is a hand crafted design and as a result each finished piece may
differ slightly.
