This stunning multi-use accessory has spectacular details ranging from the 1 1/2" long hand beaded multi-hued sea green metallic 1/4" wide body of the butterfly to the 1" long multi-hued sea green antennae. Black beads are used to create the tips of the antenna & the eyes. Two ornately crafted wings nestle on top of each other. The top wing which measures 4" at the widest & 2" at the smallest width, is encrusted w/layers of light & dark sea foam green, baby blue and silvery white, which outlines the top level wings. The bottom larger wings measure 4 1/2" at the widest & 2 1/2" at the smallest section. The bottom wings are a mixture of baby blue and silvery white hues. The bottom wings are outlined in silvery white sequins. A small round pearl white accent section is attached to the bottom of the lower wings. Each of the individual wings are handcrafted then hand attached to the wire wrapped stem underside. This gorgeous Medusa's Heirloom butterfly is a spectacular multi-use accessory that can be worn tucked into a twist, updo or base of a pony. Or it can be pinned to a lapel, belt, purse or wrist strap. Even better, because of the way the butterfly is wired, you can carefully use your fingers to slightly bend and mold the butterfly wings to create the illusion that this mystical little creature is moving it delicate wings or is about to fly away.
