Easier to use than a hairstix, December 28, 2007

I liked these hair pix because they hold my waist length, medium thick hair when I twist it into a "chignon" on the back of my head. I did find out that I need at least two of these pics--I like to combine the two large pix with one or two smaller pix for maximum hold. Anyway, this is one of those products that my hair hasn't been able to break or "spit out" after being put in place. All in all, a good product!

Works well for long hair, April 13, 2007

I recently purchased this product along with the Smoothies double pix. These large "forks' type pins work well for long and/or thick hair. I was able to use just the two that came in the package to put my hair up in a chignon type hair style. I was also very pleased with the Smoothies double pix which also works well for my long hair--I have medium to thick hair and have a hard time finding hair accesories that actually work like they are supposed to. Hint-stay away from the hair accesories that are sold in the drug store--they are are a waste of money. The Smoothies are slightly more in price than what is sold in the retail stores and are worth the extra $1 per item price difference.
