Distinctive Features
Dry hair feels rough and appears lackluster. It becomes easily tangled, is often brittle and
prone to breaking.
Causes
Internal origin: The hair fiber is protected by the hydrolipidic film which forms a barrier
against external stress factors. In case of inadequate sebum secretion, hair loses its protection.
External origin: so-called beauty or hygiene products for hair, if not suitable or used abusively, may cause hair dryness. Mechanical stress factors (blow-drying), chemical stress factors
(coloring, bleaching, perming) and climatic stress factors (sun, mist in the air, sea and chlorinated water) all cause hair trauma.
All these factors are harmful to the keratin in the hair and increase the porosity of the cuticle.
As a result, moisture contained in the hair fiber will evaporate, leaving hair dry and dehydrated.
The PHYTO Solution
In order to address this problem, it is necessary to:
- Provide hair with nourishment, shine and softness using plant oils and butters, waxes and
phospholipids.
- Moisturize and detangle hair with plant mucilage
