  • Summary:
    • To protect the rights of all of our customers we will make absolutely no exceptions to this policy under any circumstances.  To further protect our customers in advance of them opening any purchased products, this information is provided for their immediate review at the bottom of each invoice, included in each package, sent to them, by HairBoutique.com. 
    • All items must be in brand new, unused and perfect manufacturer's condition to be eligible for a return or exchange, excluding defective products. All returns are subject to a restocking fee of 15%.  Store credit is available to the customer instead of a cash, check or credit card refund to avoid the restock fee
    • All items must be returned securely and carefully packaged in a box so they are not damaged in return shipment. Do Not Use An Envelope. Any items sent back in an envelope will be refused by our warehouse and returned to the sender at their cost.
    • While we do our very best to be prompt in our response, email is not always 100% dependable.  If you do not hear back from us within 48 hours, please resend your email. We can not be responsible for any correspondence that is not received if the correct email address or contact information is not supplied to us.
    • Please check the contents of your package immediately. ALL missing, defective, damaged or incorrectly shipped products must be reported to customercare@hairboutique.com within 5 days of receipt. No exceptions will be made.
    • Any products returned to HairBoutique.com that are deemed to have been used or opened in any way or that have been determined to not be in resalable condition by HairBoutique.com will be returned to the customer at their expense.
    • Any products that are not defective, incorrect or damaged during shipment, that are returned to HairBoutique.com with an approved RMA number, will have the cost of the original shipping charges deducted from the total return amount in the event that the initial shipping was paid for by HairBoutique.com. 
    • Any package refused or returned to HairBoutique.com by neglect of the customer after the USPS, DHL or UPS has attempted delivery to the customer, will only receive a refund in the form of store credit for the amount of the purchase less shipping fees for all shipments that were paid for by HairBoutique.com. If a customer wishes to receive the package again, they will be charged for additional shipping fees. 
    • HairBoutique.com reserves the right to investigate suspected abuse of the stated return policies and deny a refund if it is deemed that our policies have been abused.
    • Due to the wide variety of products we sell and the potential for misuse of these products, HairBoutique.com is unable to guarantee any specific result from the usage of any product not manufactured by HairBoutique.com.
    • No changes or cancellations can be made on any order once it has been shipped by our warehouse. Cancellations after an order has been placed are subject to a restock fee.

     

  • Missing or Incorrect items  
    • If an item ordered is not received in a package or is incorrect, please contact HairBoutique.com within 5 business days via phone, fax or email. The missing item(s) will be shipped the next business day following notification to HairBoutique.com.
    • All claims of missing or incorrect items will be investigated by HairBoutque.com and/or shipping providers. HairBoutique.com reserves the right to deny claims of missing or incorrect items based on the results of our investigation.  
    • Missing & incorrectly shipped items will be replaced with the identical item originally ordered, subject to availability.  Shipping will be paid for by HairBoutique.com for the replacement item as well as return ship fees for the incorrect item. Choice of shipping method used to send any replacement or missing items will be at the discretion of HairBoutique.com. Customer shipping fees to be reimbursed by HairBoutique.com must be pre-approved.  Under no circumstance will a refund be issued in the form of cash, check or credit.
    • In the case that product availability is an issue, a substitution or store credit for the missing items equal to the sale price of the item will be applied upon approval from the customer.

     

  • Defective or Damaged Items
    • Defective products not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, or products damaged during shipment will be replaced immediately upon return of the damaged or defective product with the exact identical product. Please contact HairBoutique.com within 5 days of receipt of package to file a claim. No full refunds will be issued in the form of cash, check, or credit.
    • If a defective product is covered under manufacturer warranty, the customer will be referred to the manufacturer's warranty service department for replacement or service of the product. HairBoutique.com will not replace or accept returns of a defective product if the manufacturer covers the product under a warranty.
    • HairBoutique.com will pay for all appropriate shipping costs for damaged or defective products that are returned.  Method and type of return shipping that is paid for by HairBoutique.com must be pre-approved by HairBoutique.com when HairBoutique.com is responsible for any shipping costs.   
    • Any product damaged after delivery, not as a result of a defect in manufacturing or design, is the customer’s responsibility. No returns will be accepted and no refunds will be given.
    • In the event a customer wishes to receive a refund for their damaged or defective item, standard RMA procedures will apply including restock fee.

     

  • Return and Exchanges
    • Accessories
      • ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON SALE ITEMS.
      • We cannot accept returns on any hair accessory orders less than $20.00 unless the items fall under our defective item policy.
      • Due to health code regulations no returns will be accepted on any products that have been worn or used and are no longer in perfect manufacturer’s condition.
    • Appliances  
      • Due to health code regulations no returns will be accepted on any appliances which has been worn or used, or removed from the packaging.
      • HairBoutique.com will replace defective Conair or Remington Appliances up to 20 business days after purchase with an exact identical replacement upon arrival of defective product.  After 20 business days, the customer will be referred to Conair for replacement under Conair's product warranty. 
      • Return shipping fees will be reimbursed by HairBoutique.com to the customer upon results of investigation deeming products defective. Please contact HairBoutique.com Customer Service via phone, email or fax describing the problem you are experiencing and to request a RMA number.
    • Exchanges
      • All requests for product exchanges will be subject to the same standards as returns for refunds on products. To request a RMA please email, phone or fax your name, order number, and the item you wish to return to HairBoutique.com. If not included, you will be contacted to find out the item requested for replacement.
      • All ship fees to and from HairBoutique.com will be paid for by the customer.  If the item being exchanged is more than the cost of the replacement item, a restock fee of 15% will be charged on the difference.
    • Hair Extensions
      • Jon Renau
        • Jon Renau products are prohibited for returns by federal laws & the manufacturer.
      • Hair U Wear
        • All return/exchange requests for HairUWear products, including the Raquel Welch, POP, and HairDo lines must be submitted within 5 days of receipt of package to customercare@hairboutique.com to receive authorization and a RMA number.  Return ship fees are the responsibility of the customer. 
        • All return products must be in perfect manufacturer’s condition (unworn, unopened, undamaged in any way) to be valid and received within 10 business days  Invalid returns will not be accepted under any circumstance and will be returned to the customer at their cost.  A 15% restock fee will be issued on returned products as well as shipping if HairBoutique.com paid for the initial shipping charges.
        • Exchanges on HairUWear products must be in perfect manufacturer’s condition and must be pre-approved. Shipping charges back to the customer must be paid by the customer.
        • Effective March 27, 2007, all HairDo orders placed or shipped on or after this date must have the security tag put in place by HairBoutique.com intact to be eligible for a return. If the tag is removed, broken, or altered in any way the item is not valid for a refund/exchange under any circumstances. 
    • HairTopia
      • HairTopia™ Basic (30 Day Supply) and HairTopia™ Total (30 Day Supply) comes with a 45 day money back guarantee on first time purchases only. If after using HairTopia for 30 days you don't believe that HairTopia has helped you grow your hair faster, please contact us for a RMA number.

        To return your HairTopia™ call, fax, or e-mail customercare@hairboutique.com within 45 days and ask for a RMA number.  Please specify your name and order number.  We will respond with a RMA number and shipping address to ship your HairTopia back to.  No returns will be accepted without a RMA number and no refund will be issued without prior authorization of return.

        Note: The 45 day money back guarantee only applies to the first purchase of a single HairTopia™ Basic (30 Day Supply) or HairTopia™ Total (30 Day Supply).  One return per customer, per address.  All other HairTopia™ products are not returnable unless defective and must be returned within 10 business days of your order. We strongly suggest that you try HairTopia™ via one of the 30 day packages before buying multi-month packages.  
    • Other
      • Videos are not returnable unless defective and can only be exchanged for the same video.
         
    • Shampoos, Conditioners, Hair Treatments
      • Shampoos, Conditioners, Hair Treatments and any other consumable hair styling products can only be returned within 10 business days of purchase if they are unopened and unused. Unopened and unused products will be exchanged for store credit only.  Any products that are shrink wrapped and/or closed with a seal are not returnable and are not considered resalable if the shrink wrap and/or the seal has been broken and/or removed. 

       

  • RMA Procedures
    • To return your products please email customercare@hairboutique.com, phone or fax your request within 10 business days and request a RMA number. Please specify your name and order number along with a detailed reason for your RMA request. After your RMA request is approved, you will be sent a RMA number and shipping address during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.  The customer is responsible for any and all shipping costs for the return, including reimbursement to HairBoutique.com for any shipping costs that HairBoutique.com might have incurred to ship the product to the customer, unless otherwise stated in these return policies.

    • All returns are subject to a restocking fee of 15%.  Store credit is available to the customer instead of a cash, check or credit card refund to avoid the restock fee.

    • No returns will be accepted without a RMA number and no refund will be given without prior authorization of return.  Absolutely no returns will be accepted without a RMA number and no replacements will be shipped without prior authorization.  Any products sent to HairBoutique.com without an approved RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at their expense. 

    • Any products returned with the claim of damaged or defective will be tested and inspected upon arrival.  Any products returned that are not deemed damaged or defective will be returned to the customer at their full expense, or refunded less restock fee and any shipping fees incurred by HairBoutique.com.

    • All items manufactured by HairBoutique.com that are not mentioned specifically in this policy carry a 10 business day money back guarantee. All products must be returned in brand new, unused, and resalable condition. Hairboutique.com reserves the right to refuse a refund on products that are deemed not resalable for any reason. If a product has been in your hair it cannot be resold due to health codes.
